For the last five years Bourgade has welcomed guests from all over the world. Gilles’ wife Ruth is from Yorkshire and she looks after the rental business while Gilles works the vines. Ruth is also an interior designer and has a separate business renovating houses in the area.

This year’s innovations offer visitors the chance to discover Bourgade’s exceptional countryside. Nature walks and mountain bike trails have been designed as there is a vast and wonderful selection of wild birds, animals and plants to be found. In the near future an equestrian centre will be created in the Distillery and Bourgade will be able to offer their visitors an extraordinary variety of activities.

Accommodation

All you need to do is choose the type of accommodation you want. You can select from four properties; The Loft, Les Pins, La Tour or La Bergerie.

Where are we?

We are ideally located in the south of France, not so far from the mountains or the beaches of the Mediterranean.

The map below shows that we are easy to reach from the main A9 French autoroute. Many visitors travelling by road now use the newly completed A75 autoroute – using the new Millau viaduct – the highest bridge in the world.

Baronnie de Bourgade Wine

As well as offering the very best in holidays in Languedoc, Baronnie de Bourgade is also a wine estate producing quality wine, “Les 3 Poules”.

The family-owned estate covers 50 acres of vineyards comprising an interesting variety of grapes: Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grenache. Low yields and wine-making, grape variety by grape variety, temperature control, destemming techniques, and maturing in new oak barrels for some wines allow the soil and the grape variety to express all their subtlety producing some astonishing wines.
